Having the right music in the background can make the difference between a regular day and technicolor beautiful experience. So when very close friends get married I like to give them a little wedding day soundtrack . It's been played when their make up is being applied, at bachelorettes, and even once when a bride was driving a mini van of bridesmaids to her own wedding while she flipped off other drivers, her veil streaming behind her.

Ours was a simple wedding in our very nice backyard, in the gazebo. But we did have a few songs. Walk down the aisle: Kissing Town from the 10th Kingdom. Sung during wedding: When you Wish Upon a Star. Reception: Every Little Thing She Does, by the Beatles; Katydid's Ditty, by Manheim Steamroller; and various romantic songs. Those four were hand picked by us.
