I spent the day creating new blog posts, for once. But in light of todays events, this seemed more appropriate to share. I love Boston so I created this. My heart goes out to the city, friends and family of the injured and lost. Marathon training is grueling. What horrific end to what should've been a triumphant achievement.

Wedding music
Having the right music in the background can make the difference between a regular day and technicolor beautiful experience. So when very close friends get married I like to give them a little wedding day soundtrack . It's been played when their make up is being applied, at bachelorettes, and even once when a bride was driving a mini van of bridesmaids to her own wedding while she flipped off other drivers, her veil streaming behind her.

Updating Updating
I'm not sure how long this blog with stay like this blog but until that point. I'm making lithe tweaks here and there and getting ready to re-launch my etsy store. Here's one of my most recent bridal fashion portraits. I loved using this new style and can't wait to do more. Look for more here shortly-

Jack
I'm notorious for not documenting all my work. Especially, the side projects for private clients. This is my...7th.... pet portrait, maybe? I over book myself, send the work out last minute before I can even think about putting it on a scan bed. I'm really glad I found time to this portrait though ( it got pretty scary time wise at the end!). This is Jack. Jack passed away this year and a friend of the owner wanted a little something for his owners to remember him by.

Sometimes you just need to play....
I've been inspired by a little girl who needs help to start drawing in way I haven't in years. Some where along the line, I gave up on princesses, fashion girls and all the things that used to occupy my math notebooks from school ( because there sure wasn't any math notes in them). But today I let myself play. Not worrying about getting hands as good as I can or backgrounds that made sense to me. I just drew. And ...I think there's something here....but I'm not sure what yet.
